WORKSHOPS

Our one day workshops are intended to provide practical, theoretical, and contextual experiences of some of the ways that specific areas of the arts in health are approached in the arts therapies.

Each workshop is intended to be accessible to those relatively new to the field, though having attended the Art in Mental Health course may be an advantage. They are also intended to offer Continued Professional Development to Artists, health workers and Arts Therapists.

Previous courses have proved effective and enjoyable for artists, teachers, carers, social workers, art students, occupational therapists, nurses, arts workers, counsellors, psychologists, art therapists, doctors and others wanting to understand more about effective creative working. Many people are funded by their workplaces to attend.

Painting Days for Creative Development
Workshops are offered in blocks of three and designed to use as a personal progression, developing and extending ideas and ways of working over the three days.
